This relatively small but very active organization of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, since its establishment in 1990, has raised over $1,300,000 for their various projects of humanitarian and religious support to the faithful in Ukraine. One of the past projects was the renovation of St. Michael’s Cathedral and Monastery (destroyed in the 1930s) funded with a grant of $151, 000. Stolen mosaics from this historic church have been returned through the financial support of St. Andrew’s Society. The Kyiv Theological Seminary and Academy, also aided by the Society, is located in this complex.
