Beloved brethren in Christ: Peace be with you!

The hierarchs, clergy and staff of the Consistory Offices and Entities of the Spiritual Center (Metropolia Center) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA in South Bound Brook/Somerset, NJ are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our clergy, faithful, visitors and employees.

Having reviewed the COVID-19 regulations and communications from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), government agencies, local health officials, and our internal team – the President of the Consistory of the UOC of the USA has issued a directive for the Consistory Offices  of ministry:

Taking into consideration that the Metropolia Center of the UOC of the USA draws large numbers of visitors each day, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Antony, the Consistory Offices of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA in South Bound Brook/Somerset, NJ - will not be open to public until April 13, 2020.

Entities of the Spiritual Center of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA: St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Memorial Church, St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Theological Seminary, St. Sophia Seminary Library, St. Andrew Cemetery, Ukrainian Cultural Center, Consistory Offices, Ukrainian History and Education Center, School of Ukrainian Studies will be closed to public gatherings.  We do this with the desire to aid the health and well-being of our whole community of the Metropolia Center and our surrounding area.

However, it is vitally important that we stay in touch and in prayerful community with one another through phone, text, and e-mail. The employees of the Metropolia Center of the Church will be working in their offices in South Bound Brook/Somerset, NJ – but the office buildings will be closed to public.

Ієрархи, духовенство, працівники Консисторії та Відділів Духовного Осередку (Центру Митрополії) Української Православної Церкви США у Саут Баунд Бруці / Сомерсет, штат Нью-Джерсі, зобов’язані забезпечити безпеку та добробут нашому духовенству, вірним, відвідувачам та працівникам.

Переглянувши положення та повідомлення  з Центру Контролю Захворювань (CDC), державних установ, місцевих пунктів охорони здоров'я та нашого персоналу – Голова Консисторії УПЦ США видав вказівки для Відділів Консисторії:

Беручи до уваги, що Осередок Митрополії УПЦ США щодня відвідує велика кількість людей, з благословення Високопреосвященнішого Митрополита Антонія - Відділи Консисторії Української Православної Церкви США у Саут Баунд Бруці / Сомерсет, Нью-Джерсі - будуть закриті для відвідувачів до 13 квітня 2020 року.

Установи Духовного Осередку Української Православної Церкви США: Церква-пам’ятник св. Андрія, Свято-Софіївська Українська Православна Богословська Семінарія, Бібліотека Семінарії св. Софії, кладовище св. Андрія, Український Культурний Центр, Відділи Консисторії, Український Історичний та Освітній Центр і Школа Українознавства будуть закриті для громадських зібрань. Ми робимо це щоб посприяти здоров’ю та добробуту всієї нашої громади Осередку Митрополії та околиць.

Однак дуже важливо, щоб ми залишалися на зв’язку один з одним за допомогою телефону, повідомлень та електронної пошти. Працівники Осередку Митрополії будуть працювати у своїх офісах у Саут Баунд Бруці / Сомерсеті, штат Нью-Джерсі, - але офісні приміщенняі будуть закриті для відвідувачів.
